Pittsburgh is home to the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and lots of breweries! Over the past decade Pittsburgh has quickly converted into an artistic landscape and tons of things to do. The one thing that has stayed pretty much the same over time is the cost of living. Pittsburgh doesn't even compare to the big cities that have average home sales of up to $1 million.
The beauty of the city is not just in the landscape that stretches around 2,000 acres. It's not just in the rivers, the over look in mount washington, or the bridges surrounding downtown. The beauty is the cost of living! Recent surveys have showed you can afford a home in Pittsburgh with just $45,000 a year in annual income. Some of the larger cities you can't even afford a one bedroom apartment with that income. We also have a brewery in pretty much every town now! Pittsburgh loves to drink and it has been bringing in more opportunities to local neighborhoods as more traffic and consumers are brought in. The massive number of restaurants and unique dining experiences has also been popular as of late.

Not only has Pittsburgh recently been ranked in the top 50 cities to live in the US, but also the top 5 to retire. Housing prices have been rising, but still very affordable to the average individual. There is also a seemingly unlimited amount of development and redevelopment on properties here in Pittsburgh. Homes in Pittsburgh are 50 years or even 100 years old! There is tons of room for improvement and remodeling real estate. Our team loves not only improving the neighborhoods we invest in, but watching the progress on a distressed older home, to a brand new home that everyone will love.
